Mark Hamilton is an independent documentary producer, director and writer. He has made documentaries in association with CBC North, TV Ontario and APTN and his films have broadcast nationally in Canada and the United States. Mark's documentary's have screened at festivals in North America and Europe including Hot Docs, Yorkton, Calgary, Palm Springs, Glasgow and Prague. One hour one-off titles include LOUISIANA FENCE LINE, DIGNITY AND GRACE and THE LAND, THE SEA AND THE PEOPLE. He wrote and produced INUIT HIGH KICK, part of a series of short films commissioned for the Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Mark has worked as a freelance producer, director and writer; contributing feature television stories on science and technology for Discovery Channel Canada. He has also been an Executive Producer and Series Producer of Inuktitut-language documentaries and broadcast programming in Nunavut. He lived and worked as a Media Trainer in the Canadian Arctic for two years.

Mark is also a contemporary photographer and has exhibited his work at private galleries in Ontario, Canada. He grew up on a farm in southern Ontario and lives in Toronto.
